When Kawasaki City suffered serious air and water pollution in the past, the citizens, businesses and administration each made efforts to overcome it. Through this process, many environmental technologies were accumulated. We recognize that the city’s experience and accumulated environmental technologies and industries will contribute to solving environmental problems and improving the situations in fast-growing Asian cities.
